Tree Planting &
Ecological Restoration
Reviving degraded landscapes one tree at a time — planting indigenous species, restoring biodiversity, and building carbon sinks that protect Ghana's future.
Trees That Tell a Story
Planting With Purpose & Precision
We don't just plant trees — we restore ecosystems. Every tree we plant is carefully selected from Ghana's native species catalogue, matched to the specific soil, climate, and biodiversity requirements of each planting site.
Our field teams conduct thorough site assessments before any planting begins, ensuring each tree has the best possible chance of thriving long into the future.
- Site assessment and soil testing before every project
- Only indigenous species — no harmful non-natives
- Community-led care programmes for 12 months post-planting
- Annual monitoring and survival rate tracking
- Carbon sequestration measurement and reporting
What We Do in The Field
We mobilise communities for large-scale tree planting days, transforming degraded land into thriving green spaces. Schools, businesses, and individuals all take part.
We partner with city authorities to green urban spaces — planting shade trees along streets, in schools and markets, reducing heat islands and improving air quality.
We restore forest corridors connecting fragmented habitats, enabling wildlife movement, enhancing biodiversity, and rebuilding Ghana's natural forest cover.
We establish and support community nurseries that grow indigenous seedlings, creating a sustainable local supply of trees and providing livelihoods for community members.
Strategically planted trees protect Ghana's watersheds, reducing erosion, filtering runoff, and maintaining the health of rivers and water bodies that communities depend on.
We measure, document, and report the carbon sequestered by every tree we plant, providing transparent data to partners, donors, and environmental bodies.
From Seedling to Forest
Soil testing, biodiversity survey, and community consultation to identify the right species and planting approach.
Indigenous seedlings are grown in community nurseries for 3–6 months until strong enough for transplanting.
Volunteers and community members plant trees together during organised planting events, building ownership and pride.
12-month aftercare programme with regular visits, watering support, and survival tracking to ensure lasting success.
Plant a Tree. Change a Life.
Join thousands of Ghanaians restoring our land. Whether you volunteer, donate, or partner with us — every action counts.
